Ferris State $38 million residence hall with stadium view to open for fall semester

“BIG RAPIDS — Ferris State University’s new $38 million residence hall wrapping around the football stadium is on pace to open for the fall semester, with rooms still available for incoming freshmen.

Stadium Hall will sit just beyond the north end zone at Top Taggart Field and is designed to offer views of the Bulldogs’ football field from student rooms, according to the university.

The residence hall will join North Hall as being reserved specifically for freshmen and will not be limited to student-athletes.

Director of Housing and Residence Life Lisa Ortiz said incoming students should move quickly to reserve space.

‘This is an extraordinary opportunity for incoming freshmen to be a part of something very special,’ Ortiz said. ‘This will be a great space for athletics fans, or any student looking to be in the heart of campus and be part of the inaugural community living here.'”
